Our Solution: Hub-to-Hub AI Freight
AI Highway Transit
Autonomous trucks handle long-haul highway segments between logistics hubs.
Perfect for AI: structured environment, predictable routes, clear markings.
Human Last Mile
Human drivers manage complex urban deliveries.
No risky city driving for autonomous systems. People handle what they do best.
How does it work?
Step 1: Cargo Pickup by Driver
A driver picks up the freight from the origin location—typically within a city or industrial zone—and prepares the truck for the trip.
Step 2: Drive to Highway Hub
The driver takes the truck to a designated hub located near a major highway, just outside the urban area. This hub is the transition point for autonomous operation.
Step 3: Autonomous Highway Driving
At the hub, the driver activates autonomous mode. The truck then drives itself along the highway to the destination hub, where another driver can complete the final delivery leg.
Our System
Designed to Retrofit. Built to Scale.
Modular Sensor Suite
Front-facing stereo cameras, side LiDAR units, and wide-angle edge sensors provide comprehensive environmental awareness.
Highway-Only Driving Logic
Advanced capabilities for lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and safe autonomous overtaking on highways.
Remote Oversight Ready
Integrated human-in-the-loop capability ensures continuous safety assurance and intervention when necessary.
Our system is built to augment—not replace—the existing fleet.
Why Highways Only?
Our autonomous solution focuses exclusively on highways—where simplicity meets maximum impact.
Controlled Environment
Highways offer predictable conditions with minimal variables: no pedestrians, fewer unexpected obstacles, and standardized road designs that are ideal for AI systems to master.
Operational Efficiency
85% of freight miles occur on highways, meaning our solution targets the largest segment of the transportation market with the highest potential for automation.
Safety First Approach
By avoiding complex urban environments, we've created a solution that can be deployed faster and more safely while still addressing the industry's most pressing challenges.
Benefits of Our Solution
Double Driving Time
AI drives 20–22 hours daily vs. human limit of 11 hours
Lower Operating Costs
25–30% cheaper cost per mile than traditional trucking
Near-Continuous Operation
85–90% asset utilization vs. today's 50–55% standard
Enhanced Safety
reduction in accidents by eliminating human fatigue and error
Reduced Empty Miles
Optimize routes and minimize non-revenue generating travel
The Opportunity

The long-haul trucking sector, an $800B+ market, faces critical challenges including labor shortages, rising operational costs, and persistent inefficiencies. While full autonomy offers a promising solution, many existing options are too costly, slow to implement, or demand complete fleet overhauls.

Why Now?
Regulatory Tailwinds
Support for highway-only autonomy.
AI Advancements
Breakthroughs in computer vision and edge AI.
Industry Pressure
Urgency to reduce costs and enhance safety.
Why Us?
Our pragmatic approach focuses on retrofitting existing trucks with AI systems specifically designed for highway-only autonomy. This ensures our technology is effective today, delivering immediate and significant ROI for our partners.
About Freight Flow AI
Our Mission: Accelerating AI in Freight
An early-stage startup developing retrofit-ready, highway-only autonomous driving systems for long-haul trucks. We focus on predictable highway corridors between logistics hubs.
Our Approach: Pragmatic & Hybrid
Rather than full end-to-end autonomy, we combine cutting-edge AI perception with human oversight. This hybrid system enables faster adoption, lower cost-per-mile, and real operational value today.
Our Progress: Piloting for the Future
We're currently testing our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with real-world video data and preparing for on-road pilots with early partner fleets to validate our technology.
